Top 4 Favorite Food Of President Rody Duterte

During the inauguration of President Rody Duterte, we’ve seen a different set of menu served after the ceremony. It was in contrast to the typical lavish menus served whenever there’s a huge event in the Palace. The humble menu during the ceremony reflects the tough-talking yet humble personality of the new president.

The former Davao City mayor is not a huge fan of lavish lifestyle. He has been spotted in different carinderia, turo-turo and local restaurants in Davao where he dines with his family, friends, and staff enjoying simple dishes.

Curious about the top favorite dishes of our new president? Check this out.

  1. Tapa - There is something different from the tapa of Proferia “Sana” Valles that keeps the president coming back. Whenever President Duterte is craving for his favorite tapa (cured Carabao beef), he always go to his favorite carinderia, Sana Carinderia located along J. Luna Street in Davao City. Sana’s shredded tapa is a deep-fried golden thin strips of tender carabeef, marinated in vinegar, lemon juice, salt, pepper and vetsin.
